Typical documents required
Requirements vary by document type and by the authority receiving it. In most cases we ask for:
- The original document, or a clear scan or photograph of it
- A copy of your Emirates ID or passport
- Any approvals, stamps or attestations already obtained
- Contact details, and where the completed document should go
Send us the document first and we will confirm the exact list before anything is submitted, so nothing is missed on the first attempt.
How it works
- Send the document by WhatsApp or through the contact form, or bring it to the lounge in Al Rashidiya.
- We confirm the current requirements with the relevant authority and tell you exactly what is needed.
- We prepare and type the paperwork, arrange translation where required, then submit through the correct channel.
- We follow the transaction through and let you know the moment it is ready.
Processing time
Processing time depends on the transaction and on the authority handling it, so we do not quote a single fixed turnaround. We confirm a completion date in writing before starting, and tell you straight away if anything changes.
Fees
Fees are quoted per file, and the quotation separates three things so nothing is bundled together:
- ATAR’s service fee
- Government or authority fees
- VAT, where applicable
There is nothing to pay beyond what appears on the quotation, and we only start once you have approved it.
Common questions
Can ATAR notarise the power of attorney?
No. Notarisation is carried out by the relevant notary public. ATAR prepares the document, confirms the requirements and coordinates the appointment and the follow-up.
Do I need to visit the office?
Not always. Many documents can be sent digitally and delivered or collected once complete. Where an authority requires the original, or requires you in person, we tell you in advance.
Will I know the cost before you start?
Yes. You receive a quotation separating our service fee, government fees and VAT, and we only proceed once you approve it.
ATAR provides document preparation and administrative coordination. Notarisation is performed by the relevant notary public, and certified legal translation is provided by licensed providers. Authority approvals and processing times depend on the service and applicable requirements.
